If you follow us on social media or have read a news story about homelessness in Los Angeles, you probably have seen the name LAHSA and can tell they’re a major part of the plan to end homelessness in LA County. You may not know exactly who they are or what they do.

LAHSA is the lead agency in the Los Angeles Continuum of Care, which is the regional planning body that coordinates housing and services for homeless families and individuals in L.A. County. In addition to coordinating and managing funds for various agencies throughout the county, LAHSA also oversees the CES (Coordinated Entry System), the annual Homeless Count, and countywide outreach services.
